Supporting children and their families to thrive.
We are a mobile speech pathology service that specialises in working with children in the years before school.
We can work with you and your child at home, childcare or kinder and service the Castlemaine, Kyneton and Bendigo areas.
My name is Harriet Wilson and I am an experienced Speech Pathologist and Key Worker, promoting positive early childhood development for children and their families. I work with children in the years before school (aged 0-6 years), supporting their development and fostering their sense of belonging and inclusion in the world.
Every child and their family is unique. To support your child’s individual needs, I spend time getting to know your child, their strengths, interests and family context so I can provide them with the right support. I work within your families everyday routines, using play to support children’s speech and language development, pre-literacy, social and cognitive skills and positive family functioning. I specialise in supporting neurodivergent children, children with a developmental delay and children with an experience of trauma.
I work closely with parents and carers, building skills and confidence so you can support your child’s development across everyday activities. I connect the team around the child and include key people in the child’s life as an important part of their therapy. This may include parents, carers, grandparents or siblings and other professionals such as teachers, occupational therapists or psychologists.
I also provide coaching to early childhood educators, teaching practical strategies to further promote children’s language, pre-literacy and social skills in their childcare or kinder.
I am a strong advocate for inclusion and work across multiple settings including the home, childcare or kinder. I have worked in early intervention, family services, NDIS and supporting the implementation of Victorian kinder reforms around the state. I can provide therapeutic support for your child’s development as well as help you to navigate complex funding systems and engage confidently with services such as playgroups, childcare, kinder and the first year of school.
We provide support for:
Communication Development
